Issue with my command '(' in syntax

Hey!

I am wondering where did I made mistake in the following:

convert pictureB.png ( pictureA.png -resize 100 ) -gravity center -composite output.png

I get the following error:

syntax error near unexpected token `('


Sorry if thats a newbie quesiton - I am beginner with ImageMagick
