no prize for guessing why i very happy!

i got an IM install with jpeg,png,tiff etc... supported!
many many thanx for all assistance!
i will compile a detailed list of steps which resulted in successful install, and post here as closure to this topic. i did have some help from
http://www.unix.com which was mostly server-OS related, however i think it is worth mentioning.
also.... since "fees" have not been discussed, i feel morally obligated (and happy

) to make a donation to ImageMagick, if this is possible. (as i am very poor, i will get it from main beneficiary of IM install

)

When you set the LDFLAGS command, you need to set your run-path depending on the Unix system you use. This webpage has some info regarding this ..

I had to do some trial and error to figure out what works for my system. I use Ubuntu Hardy Heron and the setting of -Wl,-rpath worked for me ..
