How do I convert rgb to cmyk on IM?

Here is the last thing I tried: convert 1_boat.tiff -profile sRGB_v4_ICC_preference.icc -profile ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc boat_cmyk.tiff . It produced an inverted color scheme. Any help would be appreciated.

Does your tiff file contain a cmyk profile? Is your tiff file really in cmyk colorspace? What version of IM? What platform? Can you post a link to your tiff image? How are you viewing it?
Have you tried simply
convert image_cmyk.tiff -colorspace sRGB image image_srgb.tiff
