Hi,
On my eeepc x101CH the command :
result a black image after selecting a rectanglulaire screen area.
if I designate a given window :
It works fine as expected.
eeepc :
I do not have this problem on my Debian Testing box.
Is that a bug, or a hardware problem ?

Probably a Unity/Ubuntu problem. I get some picture if the selection include the upper pannel. works fine in xubuntu.
