Latest Stable Version of IM

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Hello,

I just wanted to know, what is the latest version of ImageMagick version which is stable and ready to install in Ubuntu 13.10 OS?

I do not think there is such thing as "stable" version. Every version of IM is stable when released. That is not to say that there are not unknown bugs or new features that could be added. But generally speaking, each new release is better than the previous in terms of bugs fixed and new features. So your best bet is to install the latest version of IM.

If you want a binary, then you have to go to the Ubuntu developers and find out what is the latest version that comes with it or convince them to install a newer version. Or install from source code or some RPM.
