Wiener Filter

Post by galv »

Is there a Wiener filter implementation in IM?
I'm talking about this kind of Wiener filter: http://coen.boisestate.edu/EBarneySmith ... mitted.pdf

It's a preprocessing method that improves the image that is being fed to the OCR engine, in order to get better results.

my script, space, does a variation of that. see link below. But I have not applied or tested it on textual data. It was used primarily to extract the image from hazy images.
