Problem with Tiff and black stripes

Hello,

sorry, i am new here and have a problem with a Fax as Tiff picture from our FaxServer Mitel NuPoint.

I see that the picture are build or convert with ImageMagick 6.2.8.

Under Windows Vista and 7 the image has black stripes.
Under XP, 2003 or 2008 the image has no stripes.

The stripes are 1 pixel heigh and 100% straight.

Is this a known problem?

I think that the Version 6.2.8 is very old, is this problem fixed in a newer version?
